- 5 portions of chicken (thigh and drumsticks)
- Bitter orange juice
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon of ground paprika
- 1/4 pound of unsalted butter
- Salt as desired

- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce or Chinese sauce
- 4 tablespoons of catsup
- 1/2 cup of dry wine
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon of ground oregano
- 1/3 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Pepper as desired
how to make bbq chicken
First, marinade the chicken with the well-chopped garlic, the bitter orange juice, the paprika, and, if desired, salt.
Let the chicken rest in the marinade for 30 minutes to an hour, then brown the chicken in hot butter. Once it is brown, take it off of the stove and set it aside.
In another pot or frying pan, heat the tablespoon of butter for the sauce and add the rest of the ingredients. Cook for 2 or 3 minutes until it starts to boil.
Now, add all of the chicken and the sauce into a pressure cooker, stir well, cover it up, and let it cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
After this time, take the pot off of the stove, uncover it when the pressure has been released, check the salt and if it is good, serve the bbq chicken.
If you prefer, finish cooking the chicken in the oven. In order to do this, once the chicken is brown and the sauce is ready, enclose both in an ovenproof container and bake for 30 minutes.
