You can use any tool to flatten it, a ladle, a roller, a meat hammer, the bottom of a glass, in short, whatever you can get.

Keep in mind that if you divide the portion of breast into pieces or in halves the cooking time is reduced by 50 percent.

To make baked chicken breasts use 200 degrees of temperature with heat up and down in the oven and without ventilation and they will be ready in about 20 minutes with a preheated oven.

If you bake them wrapped in aluminum foil, remove the foil after 20 minutes and place them in the oven for another 10 minutes to brown on the outside.

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ teaspoon of ground pepper
  • ½ teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley or chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt as desired

How to prepare grilled chicken breast


First cut both chicken breasts in half to get 4 shanks.


Then place them in a plastic bag or cover them with plastic wrap and beat them to decrease their thickness and set them aside.


Crush the garlic and mix it in a small bowl with the oregano, the pepper, the lemon juice and the olive oil.


Add this mixture to each of the chicken pieces, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. This step is so the ingredients get better integrated, but if you don’t have time, let them rest for at least 5 to 10 minutes before cooking.


Take them out of the fridge and turn on the grill, when it is hot (not too much) place the steaks, cook for 1 minute and a half on that side, turn them over and add salt as desired, cook for another minute and a half.


Finally, add the chopped parsley or cilantro and remove to serve hot accompanied by vegetables and, preferably, rice.


If you want to add a touch of extra flavor, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese, we assure you that they are irresistible.

If you do not have lemon you can do without it, they are also perfect, juicy and delicious thanks to the combination of olive oil and spices.
