- 3 cloves of garlic peeled and finely chopped
- 1 onion diced
- 1 medium carrot peeled and diced into small cubes
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 kg ground meat
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 2 teaspoons paprika or sweet paprika
- 250 g tomato sauce or substitute with 2-3 grated tomatoes or tomato paste mixed with 1/4 cup of water
- Fresh basil leaves optional
- No-cook lasagna sheets
- Grated or sliced cheese Gouda, mozzarella, or preferred cheese
Prepare Ingredients:
Finely chop the garlic, onion, and carrot.
Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over low heat.
Add the Meat:
Add ground meat, breaking it apart with a spatula to ensure even cooking.
Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika. Cook over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes until the meat is fully cooked.
Add Tomato Sauce:
Stir in the tomato sauce and basil leaves. If using fresh tomatoes or paste, adjust with a bit of water.
Cook everything together for 3-5 minutes, then turn off the heat.
Assemble the Lasagna in the Skillet:
Remove 90% of the meat mixture from the skillet, leaving a base layer.
Place lasagna sheets over the meat, followed by a layer of cheese.
Add another layer of meat mixture, then repeat with lasagna sheets and cheese until reaching the final layer.
